Cozy

I wanted to do more backgrounds/rooms and so I decided to put some thought into what Laurel's part of her dorm room might look like. It's not fully canon, but i think it was worth it. No matter what universe Laurel loves to be cozy and while this probably won't be the final design I'm proud of it. ^^

 As for the pictures on her white board there is 's Bianca,'s Loretta and 's Cathrine ( whom i believed drew their little snapshots)

Room Contents:

Candles: laurel still has a rather unhealthy love of candles no matter what universe she's in. Coral's mother is a candle maker back home and often sends Laurel some in care packages.

 

String lights: They're cozy and make the room feel less cold and clinical.

Books: Laurel keeps a large collection in her room of various books. She's probably got a stack of comics hidden somewhere but she doesn't keep them out.

Jewelry Box: A gift from her aunt

Keurig & Keurig cups: Laurel really is dead in the morning without two cups of coffee.

Angler fish sticker: Laurel likes Hank Green's music. She really enjoys his nerdy science songs and uses them to study. It's not uncommon for her to be humming " I love science" or "Strange Charm" as she runs through the halls.

Prince Sticker: This is where Laurel gets the nickname Princi from. When She and Coral were younger, Laurel was obsessed with Prince. Like hard core obsessed. She had posters, albums, t-shirts, necklaces, merch and thought he could do no wrong. Laurel has since grown out of her obsessive phase, but still loves Prince's work. When he passed she cried for four hours on the phone to Coral and it was, in fact the first day she didn't actually show up for any of her classes.
 

Pink and Blue Containers: Laurel keeps various things in these, mostly clothes, bath bombs, her yoga mat  stuff like that.

Landry hamper

Hanging pink towel : Her preferred towel, and probably the main one she takes to swimming practice.

Bath products shelf: Laurel really loves the smell of peaches, so all of her bath products smell like them. Due to this, the girl always smells like peaches.

Hanging beads: A, kind of gag gift from her boss. Laurel was pretty insistent on hanging beads being useful for privacy. So her boss thought it'd be funny to give her this tiny strand for her birthday.

Coffee Cups: Laurel loves mugs. Odds are these are all either sassy, snarky cups that she got to try and deter morning conversations, or cutesy mugs with sleepy cats on them

Lantern: Laurel bought this on  while on a family vacation and brought it with her for good luck.

Bonsai Tree ( Fake): Laurel likes tiny things and she likes plants but has absolutely no time to care for a real bonsai tree. So she bought a fake one.

 Towels

White board: Laurel loves her friends and keeps pictures of them here.

Cork Board: laurel hangs her keys for the car she can't legally drive here. It's also where she keeps her room key and various other keys that she has.

Stuffed animals: Coral sucks at making stuffed animals, but enjoys making them a lot. So, Laurel has these two, which were Coral's first projects as moving away gifts.
