Jerrell smiled softly, eyestalks wandering around the room in search of familiar faces. It wasn't often the academy threw such elaborate parties, but then again, it wasn't often that classes graduated, ready to be sent out to patrol the stars. The Cerberan couldn't help but smile, an official medic, huh? What would mother and father say if they could see him now?
But despite his excitement, and for lack of a better term, pride, the young man couldn't help but worry, if only a tad. There were so many people, so many unknown faces, so many commanders…it was a little overwhelming, if he were honest with himself.
The delicate plucking of string instruments fluttered through the air, soft woodwinds adding to the melody with blushing tones. It was lovely, the kind of sound too good to waste with stiff conversation and stuffy atmospheres. And then, Jerrell saw a familiar face, only partially hidden among the crowd. With a happy skitter, the Cerberan approached, one arm tucked behind his back and the other offering a hand, " Excuse me, but would you care to dance?"
(( This was fun to do. The background isn't really the greatest but I had fun doing it. Galactic Cadets are totally okay to hang with the baby, this is supposed to be a while back ^^))
omg can I write a role play to this?
can I just praise you for this design
He's so cute
I'll use her
I haven't gave her love in 3 years //shot]]
The moth girl had been amongst the party, she wore her blonde hair up in a bun, She also wore a long beautiful turquoise dress that cut off at the knees with purple flats.
She hadn't been to a party before and didn't know what to do. She kept her wings close not trying to hit anyone with them as she walked through the crowd of people. When she
was caught by surprise by the kind gesture. "O-Oh! I-I would love to dance." She smiled softly at the man, As she took his hand gently in hers.
Jerrell smiled, very gently bringing the moth girl closer to him and offering his arm in escort position to lead her out onto the floor. He wasn't sure if he'd seen her before but she seemed nice, and a little unsure. Part of him was thankful he wasn't the only one not quite in his element. "What do you think of the party so far to night, ma'am?" He asked, looking at her with a curious face.
She hasn't gotten ANY love
never drew her once
I'll end up drawing this though ]]
She gently smiled at him, following him to the floor. "Well I think it's pretty great! It's my first party... So if I do something wrong tell me." The moth was very glad to meet someone at the party, she was afraid that she'd have to be the only one not dancing. Although that might be a good thing since she doesn't know how to dance. It was her first time coming out to a party, She had never went to birthday parties as a kid or didn't have her own. "Thank you for asking me to dance... I thought I was gonna be the only one not dancing." She laughed gently.
The Cerberan gave a little laugh, " I'll tell you a little secret, I've not been to very many parties like this myself." Jerrell took one of her hands in his, resting the other at a respectful place at her side and began leading her through a basic waltz. While he might not have attended many fancy parties, Cerberus Nine did have a few dances and thankfully Jerrell had attended a few. " It's no problem at all, thank you for accepting the offer." He replied.
You are so amazing
thank you ]]
She lightly chuckled, "So this is how you dance?" She held his hand gently in hers, as her other hand rested on his shoulder. "I've never danced before.." She followed his feet swaying slightly as she did so. "You are a great dancer." She smiled gently at him.
I like how his design is evolving as you draw him, it's like he's a living being, you know?
